What You Will Receive

Each commissioned portrait is a full-detail graphite drawing executed on professional Bristol extra-smooth cardstock, accompanied by a high-resolution digital file for your records.

I invest 8 to 14 hours of profound engagement into every piece — working from your photographs to create something that transcends the photograph entirely.

Base Price

$700 — Single subject portrait (8 1/2″ x 11″)

$350 — Each additional subject 

Paper size increases to a minimum of 11″ x 14″ for compositions of more than two subjects

20% Discount generously extended to Veterans and Seniors age 65 and over

Shipping within the United States is included. For orders outside the U.S., we’ll agree on the shipping cost together before you order.

Your portrait arrives in about one week from receipt of your final payment.

Framing: Portraits are shipped unframed so you can choose a frame that suits your home. If you’d like help with framing, just ask and we can talk about it.

How It Works

1. Send your photo using the form at the bottom of this page.
2. We talk it through. I’ll contact you personally to go over any changes you’d like.
3. Reserve your portrait with a 50% deposit. The balance is due when your portrait is finished, before it ships. Would you rather pay over time? Ask about a 0% interest payment plan.
4. Your portrait arrives in about one week.

Your Photo Doesn’t Need to Be Perfect

Most people don’t have a perfect photo, and that’s fine. A snapshot from your phone, a faded print, a picture that’s too dark or a little blurry: send it. I look past poor lighting, shadows and contrast, and I remove the background as a matter of course. If you can see the face, I can draw it.

A Note on Custom Requests

Every client is unique — and I take that seriously. Before I begin your portrait, I will personally discuss any special requests you may have, such as:

• Darkening or lightening hair
• A more youthful appearance
• Whitening of teeth
• Removal of wrinkles
• Adjustments to the neck or other features

Your complete satisfaction is my goal. That conversation happens before a single mark is made.

Give a Portrait as a Gift

Can’t get a photo without spoiling the surprise? Give a portrait gift certificate. Each certificate covers one single-subject portrait ($700) and is emailed to you as a printable card, ready to wrap or place under the tree. Your loved one sends me their favorite photo whenever they’re ready, any time within 12 months.
