When I first saw Milissa I knew immediately that I had to paint her, so I did. This was in January of 2017 in Key West, Florida. With her pose I thought it best to accomplish the painting “Square”. I chose a 40″ x 40″ x 1 1/8″ stretched canvas. She was the first and remains my favorite in this 14 painting series I did over a 6 month period from Jan. – June of 2017.
What I was striving for in this series was to celebrate and exhibit in a tasteful and most classy manner, the allure of femininity, sexuality and the sensuality of the female form.
What ultimately came to fruition was a collection of paintings that I believe exemplify my initiatives. As added spice I included a few that accent the objectives with subjects associated to ‘Romance’.
What can I say about Contessa? Seductive, sexy, and playful. She comes across to me in a mysterious and yet childish way but she’s anything but a child. She’s a full blown beauty oozing sexuality and sensuality. Oh those eyes and that expression!
I also thought Contessa would look best painted on a square canvas. I used a 30″ x 30″ x 1 3/8″ stretched canvas.
What’s on her mind? What do you see in those eyes, one to the world the other hidden with her dark locks.
I ratcheted up my ambition level with this undertaking. The painting measures 48″w x 36″h x 1 3/8″
I suppose the fantasia element shines through with this beauty that mystically arises above the pond with the reeds draped in front of her. She appears to have a far off gaze adding to the element of fantasy. The water droplets and the swirling pond emphasize the activity of nature around her.
This painting reflects more of my whimsical side yet keeps with the theme of this delicious sensual series. Yes, women and their curves comes out in a fun way here with “Toast To You”! I again chose a square format to paint her lovely legs on. This painting measures 36″ x 36″ x 1 3/8″.
A The perfect work of art for any lounge, man cave and even on a wall in your home bar. A real conversation piece and head turner!
In a deeper side of the sensual theme, this minimalist silhouette, displays both the sensual aspects of a woman yet in a more serious exhibition – showing her in a state of spiritual communion. This painting measures 24″ x 36″ x .25″ on canvas board.
A painting with a deep value that reflects “Her” attachment to the universe.
Isabelle makes you think French even if you’re Lithuanian. Her stunning features express a certain profound sculpted beauty oozing sexuality and sheer womanliness. I painted Isabelle on a 18″ x 36″ x 1 3/8″ stretched canvas.
In the minimalism style I thought to accentuate the curves of a woman in a side view silhouette and incorporated two figure lying side by side. This painting measures 18″ x 36″ x 1 3/8″ on stretched canvas.
Just enough light in the right areas to insight attraction for the eye and still be impressionistic.
I wanted to create a portrait of a woman and have the play between light and shadows to be a paramount in the painting. I love how she blends her beauty from the dark to the light. She measures 24″ x 36″ x 1 3/8″ on stretched canvas.
This painting was created to represent both the beauty, sexuality and sensuality of a woman’s body but also to express a meditative expression of what I have defined as a transcendence into the spiritual universe.
The painting measures 30″ x 48″ x 1 3/8″ on stretched canvas.
Truly an awesome interpretation of a gorgeous woman in a transcendental pose.
